Bon Jovi will have plenty of new projects on their plate in 2009, including
a live DVD, new music and a greatest hits collection. The DVD and best-of
effort could be packaged together for a fall 2009 street date.
Chevelle will begin recording their fifth studio album early next year;
a spring release is expected.
Lifehouse announced that they have entered the studio to work on their
fifth album which they will be releasing sometime next year.
Ben Harper is recording an album with a new band, Relentless7; the
disc, titled "White Lies For Dark Times", is due in May 2009

Taking Back Sunday have revealed the title of their upcoming fourth
full-length as "New Again".
Mushroomhead will hit the studio in January 2009 to begin work on a
new studio album. A spring release is expected.
Deftones bassist Chi Cheng has been hospitalized following a serious
car accident, it was confirmed by Warner Bros. The label released a
statement that said Cheng was in serious but stable condition
and did not provide any other details.
Lamb Of God will release their fifth studio album, "Wrath",
on February 24, 2009.
The Strokes plan to regroup in February 2009, ending a hiatus that
began after touring to promote 2006's "First Impressions Of Earth",
according to drummer Fabrizio Moretti.
Smile Empty Soul will release their new studio effort, "Consciousness",
in early 2009.
Mastodon will release their new album, "Crack The Skye",
early next year via Reprise.
Linkin Park will release their first ever live CD/DVD set on November
25, but the band is looking ahead to their fourth studio album, which
singer Chester Bennington describes as a concept record.
Lily Allen will return on February 10, 2009 with "It's Not Me,
It's You", the follow-up to her breakthrough debut album "Alright,
Still".
